One of my favorite shoes has just about fallen apart and I must make peace with its death.
The beloved shoe we’re talking about here is a gold flat from the Garment District in Cambridge, MA and it’s been the very best. I’ve had it and its partner-shoe resoled, re-polished, re-everythinged twice but, at long last, my baby toe has punched through the leather like a zombie rising.
These drawings are for you, shoe.
